Tax Refund Boon ... I hope

I was not too upset last night for not getting to bed until nearly midnight with my cellphone alarm set for 4 a.m. to get me up to slowly ready for a later hike that would see me do some grocery shopping at Real Canadian Superstore, a round trip hike of 5.625 miles; however, I had forgotten that there was to be a time change in which we would be losing an hour.

When I rose at 4 a.m. after getting roused by the alarm's chimes, I felt unexpectedly short on my sleep. It was not until I was downstairs to boil water for a stiff coffee (two heaping teaspoonfuls) and I noticed the clock on the stove read that it was only shortly past 3 a.m. that I started to realize what had happened.

Anyway, I did not get away until 6:20 a.m., and it was lightly raining; so even if I had left a half hour earlier, I would not have stopped for any exercise at the nearby elementary school playground.

I needed to withdraw $200 from my financial institution's ATM along the way to shop, for my wallet only contained $20 following the fulfilled request Friday from my wife for $150 that she may or may not repay.

I never got particularly wet, but I found myself exceptionally lacking during the walk back to home ─ it felt exhausting.

My younger brother was not yet up, so I wasted very little time in getting back into bed to try for a nap.

I doubt that I was to get any sleep, but I did at least rest very deeply. And I was not to join him for some morning T.V. until maybe 10:20 a.m., right after he had turned on the T.V.

He had benefitted from that extra hour of morning/nighttime darkness.

When he invited me at 10:30 a.m. to put our Android TV Box into play, I led us off with a video in excess of an hour (1:09:19) that had been published March 7 to Rumble's ElsaIsElsa channel: ROBERT, ARBORIST, documents unnatural forest fires. Years of evidence. With Elsa. THOUGHT TALK.

Ed Wackerman has been in a California prison for months, charged with committing a crime impossible for him to commit. An unnatural forest fire. What is an unnatural forest fire? ROBERT, PROFESSIONAL ARBORIST for 33 years, has years of evidence about the differences between natural and unnatural forest fires in California and also elsewhere. Maui. Texas. And more. Here Robert gives an overview of the situation, with photos from fire after fire where trees did not burn but were dead from the inside out, where houses were gone but the trees beside them remained, the needles unburned, untouched. We need to see this evidence, know this evidence, act together to protect those charged with crimes they did not commit - and to protect this world as well as we can. This is being done to us. Robert has years of evidence. Watch now. And be involved, active, doing what you can. Every step helps.

The description fails to mention that his more full name is Robert Brame.

Due to our late viewing start, I next tuned in two very short videos, the most recent additions to Rumble's WTFLouie channel:

Goettingen, Germany, 8th March 2024. Day 7 of Fuellmich's Trial. Viviane Fischer's third day as a witness. According to some other reports by citizen journalists and spectators, Viviane really has trouble giving straight or short answers. And Reiner's lawyer, Katja Woermer asks, after today's major revelations, what exactly Dr Fuellmich is accused of?

After my brother sought bed rest at noon, I had a large meal, and was possibly not to bed for a needed nap until 1:30 p.m. My brother had already gone for the day by then.

I did not nap too long, but I needed more sleep. So much so that I could not rise for the longest while ─ I just lay almost helplessly. But time was a-wasting, so I finally had to force myself up this overcast and sometimes lightly raining day.

I was to become enmeshed in a lengthy response to an E-mail I received yesterday from my cousin Doug reporting details on the death of his sister Linda on Friday from pancreatic cancer.

And so once again, my late old friend William's ladyfriend Sandy is going to have to wait at least another day before I attempt to phone her as she beseechingly requested.

Right now it is working towards 7:30 p.m., and I hope to get out for another walk ─ five+ miles ─ that would see me doing a little further grocery shopping, but at Save-On-Foods this time. Doing this would free me up to have some late evening T.V. with my brother once we are both back home, and I would also have at least a couple cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol).

Concerning the tax returns I filed via GenuTax and NETFILE, my wife should be getting $588 that will go towards an income tax debt she incurred during tax year 2020; whereas I believe that I am going to receive over $2,900.

I will be needing that with the annual utilities, home insurance, and property taxes that are coming up beginning early in April until early in July. This refund will be a monumental relief!
