The First Day

Finally, a night more typically slept than have been the case in several now past. However, I seem to find myself unduly beset with urinary urgency, rising possibly three times to alleviate that state.

The first time I also thought that I might need companion relief, but nothing resulted in the time I was seated. The house was in darkness at the time. But then I heard what I concluded must surely be my wife coming into the house.

I hastened from the toilet and came back into the security of my bedroom and then my bed, checking the time only then and noticing that it was something like 1:40 a.m.

She wasted little time in getting herself into her own bedroom and bed, for she had a full workday today at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.

The final time I was to visit the toilet proved to be around 5:41 a.m. Since my cellphone alarm was set for 6 a.m., I opted to cancel it, but reset it for 6:30 a.m.

Very soon after getting to bed, though, I decided to just get myself up for the morning, so I cancelled the 6:30 a.m. alarm.

With clear night skies and frosty mornings, I felt that it would likely be possible to see well enough by 7:30 a.m. to have some exercise out in the backyard tool shed. But to my chagrin, it was then that my younger brother chose to emerge from his bedroom for the morning.

That rather scotched any urgency about getting out there so early, so I delayed until at least 7:50 a.m. before going outside.

I was to find my shoulder and upper arms too stiffened and sore to manage the first pull-up I attempted, so I merely hung for a very few seconds by way of a stretch, and that seemed to do the trick. My first two sets of pull-ups had three repetitions and then a single; my two sets of chin-ups had two repetitions in each; and my two sets of pull-ups between the sides of a child's slide ladder had a single repetition in each, but I held the dead hang of the final one for a 50-count.

And then I tackled the squats to strengthen my right leg's quadriceps muscles. I seem to be considerably better at the four sets of assisted partial one-legged squats, often holding my weight unassisted for as many as 10 or 12 or even more seconds before failure requires me to use my hands for assistance again.

Back in the house, even though if may not have yet been 8:15 a.m., I joined my brother instead of going upstairs to my bedroom. However, when after a few minutes it became obvious that he was in no rush whatsoever to turn the T.V. over to me so that I could put our Android TV Box to work, I did return to my bedroom.

I fail to understand why he persists in watching the propaganda media as he does, but it is true that he has no access to information on his own because he cannot use a computer. Thus, he has no other medium.

After maybe 20 minutes I came back downstairs to the kitchen to gather up my day's first light meal; yet still my brother remained glued to the news he is allowed to know about.

I returned to my bedroom and ate here at my bedside computer.

I joined him again around 9:10 a.m., approximately the usual time.

When I got his invitation at long last to operate the Android TV Box, I led with a 24-minute (24:49) video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Is the 'Maduro Treatment' Required Here? The Canada Carney China Deal.

I followed that with a 42-minute (42:40) video streamed January 16 to Rumble's ZeeeMedia channel: 5 Easy Steps to Protect Yourself From the Social Credit System NOW | Daily Pulse Ep 177.

The coordinated, worldwide roll out of Digital ID is happening before our eyes. Scammers are now super powered with AI, and are very dangerous. The surveillance and digital control grid is growing and people feel boxed in. Glenn and Eric Meder say there are real, tangible steps that we can and must take right now to protect ourselves against the looming social credit system.

We next watched Riverdale ─ episode 16 ("Chapter Ninety-Two: Band of Brothers") of season five.

The last show we got into was a movie, but after 33 minutes or so my brother wanted to postpone finishing it because he was set to return to his bedroom for further bed rest.

Earlier, around 9:44 a.m., I had noticed that my wife had risen and was in the bathroom to shower and otherwise ready for work; and just a few minutes past 10 a.m., she had left for her car and her fairly long drive.

I sometimes marvel at people who can put in long days like hers.

For myself, since I had already eaten this morning, I may have made it to bed just ahead of noon, napping very well. I checked the time at 1:40 p.m., and was inclined to try for a little further sleep. But after a minute or two, I overruled the notion and got up.

My brother had yet to leave on foot for a bus to take him away so he could social drink. I believe that he left around 2:25 p.m., bidding his goodbye to Bev whose only concern anymore is watching TV all the time that she is up.

Early in the latter afternoon I had a light exercise session in my wife's vacant bedroom. And that was enough. The thought of going out to the backyard tool shed to attempt a pull-up was too daunting to brave ─ I felt so impossibly stiff.

Right now it is 5:01 p.m. and I am going to break from this post. I will finish up in the latter evening after I have watched a couple or so shows here on my bedside computer and had a couple of cans of Cariboo Malt ─ I only have one left listing 7.9% alcohol as its content, so the second one will be 8%.

🟩🟩🟩

My first show was Madam Secretary ─ episode five ("Blame Canada") of the first season. My source was this TVSeries.video link.

The series was undeniably well crafted.

Anyway, the episode probably ended around 7:15 p.m. And my brother got back home around 7:40 p.m.

My next choice was ... well, outstanding! It was an Australian T.V. series from 1994 about a rowdy high school, from what I gather. Titled Heartbreak High, I of course tuned in the premiere episode ("Episode 1" "The First Day"). My source was this TVids.net link, a website I do not like having to use because it tends to generate a new advertisement browser that hides behind the one I am using.

I did not realize that the series was a spin-off from a movie, so now I am thinking that I am going to have to start sharing the series with my brother by first recording the movie for us to start watching a few months from now.

Feeling a sitcom to be in order, I gave a new one (to me, of course) a shot. 'Twas Aliens in America ─ the premiere episode of the only season. My source was this 1Movies.bz link.

I was really getting a kick out of it and wondered if I ought to share the series with my brother ... until the scene where the main character White kid was emulating his young Muslim exchange student and prostrating himself towards Mecca in the prayer posturing.

I found that to be offensive. I will watch the series through, but I will not subject anyone else to it.

The episode ended a little ahead of 9:50 p.m. To accompany the episode, I had poured the last third (a little over eight ounces) of a bottle of St Hubertus Gamay Noir 2022 red wine (12.7% alcohol).

My wife got home around 10 p.m. It is now 10:50 p.m., and she has said nothing to me.

I am going to start wrapping up whatever is left undone here on my computer and get to bed. Perchance I will sleep well ─ I was very tired before I began that first beer.
