More poor sleep ─ what is wrong with me?
When my 6 a.m. cellphone alarm sounded, I of course did not want to rise from bed, but I did. I wanted to make the half mile hobble to No Frills once it opened at 8 a.m., and do some grocery shopping.
But this was augering badly for the hoped-for accompaniment I had intended with my younger brother when he made an early afternoon beer run, for these abominably bad nights leave me vulnerable to deep and/or long early afternoon naps.
Adding to my woe was that I knew we were in for a sunny day.
Despite how I hate being abroad in the daylight, I delayed leaving until it was already after 8 a.m., but at least I got the shopping done and was home once more without slipping and falling due to frosted sidewalks.
My brother was not to emerge from his bedroom until nigh 10 a.m., if not after. Obviously by then I had our T95X [it is actually T95Q] Android 9 TV Box all set to play a very good video on T.V.
At 31 minutes (31:40), it had been streamed two days ago to Rumble's Tucker Carlson channel: Eva Vlaardingerbroek Speaks Out After Being Banned From the UK.
For the crime of criticizing the British prime minister, Eva Vlaardingerbroek has been banned from the UK. England is descending into darkness.
I admire that young woman so much!
We were to only watch one further show, for it ended near 11:30 a.m. and already my brother desired to return to his bedroom for further bed rest.
The show was Chilling Adventures of Sabrina ─ episode three ("Chapter Thirty-One: The Weird") of season four. I had downloaded the episode some months ago, so I can only now guess where, but I will suggest that this GOOJARA.to link was my source.
I had eaten around 9 a.m. before my brother had emerged from his bedroom, so I was free to return back to bed by maybe 12:15 p.m. at worst, hoping I might possibly still be able to hitch a ride with my brother for more beer.
Well, I think that I may have exceeded 2½ hours in bed, and I still did not feel properly slept. And of course, my brother had long done his beer run and would soon be leaving afoot for a bus to carry him off to do his daily social drinking.
Fortunately I am still sufficiently stocked with beer ─ I just wanted to plump up that stock.
My wife was only scheduled to work the latter part of today (I had not heard her come home last night), and was nearly set up to head away on her lengthy drive by the time I had finished my long nap.
I felt so illy slept that I almost forsook any exercising today. Somehow, though, I rallied enough to get my stiffened old body to do some exercising in my wife's vacant bedroom and then I went out to the backyard tool shed for a single repetition in six sets comprised of pull-ups and chin-ups. At first I doubted I would manage the first pull-up, but hanging for several seconds loosened me up enough to handle the ensuing pull-up.
I had a 50-count dead hang at the completion of the very last pull-up, and then dealt with the squats to build strength back into my lame right leg.
I have since had a light supper.
Right now it is 6:59 p.m. and I am going to break from this post so I can watch a couple of shows here on my bedside computer while drinking a couple cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).
🟪🟪🟪
My first selection was delightful because it was another episode of Titans ─ this time, episode three ("Ghosts") of season two. My source was this TVSeries.video link.
That Minka Kelly and her phenomenally soothing voice! I cannot explain how she affects me ─ her voice and beauty are so viscerally essential.
The episode was done by 8:20 p.m., and I think that by then my brother had joined Bev downstairs in the living room to 'watch' T.V.
I next watched Prime Suspect ─ episode 10 ("A Gorgeous Mosaic") of the only season. My source was this uFLIX.to link.
Pretty good. But I was left for wanting more, especially since the episode may have ended around 9:30 p.m. What? ─ Go to bed?
The second can of beer never got me where I felt like being anyway. And the show was not rousing or inspiring ─ just 'real life' stuff.
However, the sitcom I finished with ─ despite maybe an eight-ounce glass tumbler of St Hubertus Gamay Noir 2022 red wine (12.7% alcohol) ─ was as hedonstically trashy as the first two episodes.
The T.V. series I am referring to is Entourage ─ episode three ("Talk Show") of the first season. My source was another TVSeries.video link.
This garbage went on for eight seasons? Sheer rot. I despise everybody in the series this far.
When did the episode end? Couldn't have been much after 10:20 p.m., if at all.
Thereafter I took the 15 or so minutes to brush my teeth here in my bedroom. Actually, right now it is 11:08 p.m., and I am calling it quits. I want to close down whatever it is that I have open here on my computer, and get to bed.
I do not plan to rise any earlier than 6 a.m., but if I sleep wretchedly, it will probably be best to rise and maybe even take a walk to exercise my bloody crippled right leg.
ℱ𝓊𝒸𝓀, my life sucks!
