I continue to sit up in the evenings after my younger brother gets home from his 'socializing', and not making it to bed until into the midnight hour.
My wife was reticent upon arriving home last evening after being away since Saturday afternoon (she typically spends much of her weekends somewhere in Vancouver). I believe that I had already discovered that she removed a further $700 from our chequing account, which only ever contains my monthly pension.
This now brings her debt with that account to a total of $1,500 that must be somehow repaid before the monthly mortgage comes due, which is ostensibly automatically debited from that account on the 22nd of each month (or soon thereafter if that day is a weekend or holiday).
I have no idea how she is going to repay the money, unless it is by incurring yet further credit debt behind my back.
By the time my brother retired for the night, so had my wife. The only communication she and I had was when she first walked into the house and issued a "Hi" to the pair of us. She then proceeded to communicate with one or both of her two sons in their den area.
I was too in need of my sleep overnight to feel up to rising early for a short walk, so that never happened. I suppose that my morning commenced around 7 a.m. or soon thereafter.
The mid-morning essentially involved casting about via the various apps that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box, seeking videos relating to the scamdemic / plandemic / casedemic to watch on T.V. ─ we are particularly involved with those featuring present day happenings in Ottawa's Freedom Convoy 2022.

That idiot has just about ruined Canada ─ we'll be in debt for decades because of that corrupt thief.
But returning to the topic of my wife, when she rose shortly after 10 a.m. to ready for her full workday at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, she only issued a "Good morning" to my brother and I after she had showered and come downstairs. And then when she left on her fairly long drive around 10:30 a.m., we were bade a simple "Bye".
In the time that she had been home, she never acknowledged a small container of three tropical plants that I had left for her in lieu of a proper Valentine's Day gift, for I could afford nothing more. After all, I have bought her via my VISA credit card a gimbal for her cellphone ─ I ordered it online, so I have no idea if it will arrive before her birthday, which happens to be on our mortgage day this month.
Thus, when around 10:47 a.m. I received a phone call from her in which she confessed to the $700 withdrawal, promising to try and pay back the full $1,500 in time for the mortgage debit, I was pleasantly surprised ─ for she also thanked me for the little container of plants.
Where the money was concerned, she asked that I not mention the debt to her sons. I promised, but I qualified the promise with the warning that if she was unable to repay the money so that we would have enough for the mortgage, then her sons would have to know, for it would be they who would then have to cover the shortfall.
Since she probably partied and maybe even gambled the money away, she most definitely does not want to have to explain herself to them.
Speaking of the two lads, this late afternoon the eldest (27 years old) gave me a rather substantial covered dish of something that he had bought at Chipotle ─ it will comprise the mainstay of my supper.
And since my evening is already well upon me, I am going to close this post here and have that meal whilst I await my brother's homecoming following his afternoon departure to continue with his daily 'socializing' ─ I will be tuning in sweet Charlotte for her evening livestream from Ottawa as the attractive member of the ZOT partnership at YouTube. I have become a fan of the lass, so I do hope that she is on duty and not one of the two guys who seem to be involved in the ZOT partnership.
