So Much Happening!

The past couple of nights have found temperatures to be a few degrees below the freezing level, and thus the intervening days have also been quite cold, of course.

The surprise in the weather, however, took place at some point shortly after 9 p.m. last evening. My younger brother arrived home around 9:40 p.m. announcing that it was snowing. I had been outside around 8:30 p.m., perhaps, and there was no indication whatsoever that we were about to have this experience.

Granted, the amount of snow was negligible; but for hereabouts in my part of Surrey, B.C., it is unusual to have snow this far into a new year.

Note that I took the above two photos with a Canon PowerShot SD880 IS digital camera, and it does not handle poorly-lit scenes at all well. I think that my iPhone 5 would have resulted in a brighter foreground.

It was around 9 a.m. this morning that I took those photos while looking out from our living room window to the cul-de-sac we live in.

My wife ─ who had evidently gone out yesterday mid-afternoon to eventually become involved in a birthday party in her honour (her birthday was the 22nd) ─ sensibly did not drive herself home last night. She in fact did not come home until late this morning, and promptly went to bed.

The primary reason that I know she was having her birthday celebrated was because I located the following images and a brief video at her Facebook account that she took as selfies:

Thai girls just wanna have fun!

Now on to a few other things, if I have the time.

A very few days ago, my brother and I watched an episode of Lewis ─ specifically, the final episode of season three that was titled "Counter Culture Blues" ─ that featured as the main guest star, actress Joanna Lumley, portraying a former sex-symbol rock singer from back in the 1960s.

I have liked Joanna Lumley ever since her stint as John Steed's partner in the T.V. series The New Avengers back in the 1970s.

She never replaced Dianna Rigg's Emma Peel in my heart, but I must admit that Joanna managed to 'age better'.

What I also got a rise out of in the Lewis episode was an entirely unexpected secondary guest star ─ actress Perdita Weeks, whom I have come to delight in as the gorgeous and athletically-built Juliet Higgins in the revamped T.V. series Magnum P.I.

By the way, my brother and I are working our way through all three of the Inspector Morse-related series (the third being Endeavour). We are alternating episodes and are likely watching one of each per week.

My brother and I are, of course, also keeping abreast of current events related to the Freedom Convoy 2022 and the invocation and then the sudden repeal of the Emergencies Act by our corrupt Crime Minister Unjust Trudope ─ that dictatorial snake has to be removed from government.

I won't link to any specific videos that we have been watching, but you can find more than enough by perusing those listed on Rumble for Rebel News and Action4Canada.

Along with the riddance of our fearful leader, the world needs to have the corrupt Pharmaceutical Industry utterly devastated for their murdering actions over the past two years.

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, both two of the major players seem on the verge of going bankrupt, with any luck ─ see this article in The Desert Review published three days ago: Pfizer & Moderna Investors Run for the Exits.

Late tonight, if there seems the time, I may tune in the 47-minute Liberty Coalition Canada video that was uploaded to Rumble today: Shock & Awe! The Senate Got it Right. We Called it Wrong. The title of the video does not indicate it, but the Russian invasion of Ukraine is also discussed.

Perhaps the final item I will mention today is the following hoax / scam message that I received today at 7:26 a.m. as an E-mail:

This is so bogus!

There was no charge to my credit card ─ this was simply an attempt to scare me into contacting them for the dual purpose of letting them know that my E-mail was an active account; and to try and lure me into engaging with them and revealing any kind of vital information by which they would be able to fleece me.

For example, if I was stupid enough to believe that a charge was about to be lodged against my credit card and I contacted the above by calling their "Helpline" number, undoubtedly I would be assured that somehow there must have been a misunderstanding and they would immediately cancel the charge ─ all I would need to do is provide them my credit card details.

Yeah, right! Dream on, you loser a**holes.

A genuine occurrence of anything like this would have the E-mail addressing me by name ─ this one did not. Also, my credit card type and probably its last four digits would have been cited ─ but again, there was no mention of either of these two details. Many people have more than one credit card.

The whole message was 100% anonymous and nonspecific where I as a potentially new customer was concerned.

That's it for today.
