My damned addiction felled me again, and I was not to retire last night until just after 4:20 a.m.
And all the while, my poor wife was in her bed in the adjacent bedroom ─ we have separate rooms, ever since shortly after I had returned from my better-than-10-day stay in hospital with supposed "COVID pneumonia" from October 18 - 28 back in 2021.
Why will God not help me?
My wife had yesterday off work by choice, and also today as her regular day off ─ this morning, she had plans to take food and visit the Buddapanyanuntarama Buddhist Monastery in Burnaby, so she was not to be remaining in bed until nigh midday as she generally does on a day off.
She evidently paid that visit, and was back home ─ possibly late into the noon hour, quickly announcing that she was seeking a needed nap. I had just finished a meal after having watched morning T.V. with my younger brother, who was himself at that point taking bed rest in his own bedroom prior to leaving for the day to resume his daily socializing.
I napped much longer than I usually do, not rising until possibly around 3:30 p.m., by which time my wife was up and fussing about in the kitchen. However, as I type these words at 5:05 p.m., she apparently left without a word to me ─ possibly as far back as 4:15 p.m.
I can but assume that she will be returning anon, and has not had to work the latter part of the day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.
The day, incidentally, has been rain-free; and I even noticed some shreds of blue sky.
My youngest stepson brought something of consideration to me a short time ago this latter afternoon. He came to me to enquire if I ever watch a T.V. series entitled So Help Me Todd.
Well, it so happens that early yesterday evening, I did watch the second episode ─ I had watched the premiere episode maybe at least 10 days ago. Of course, I did so via our Android TV Box.
It seems that our Internet and basic cable service provider notified him ─ probably by E-mail or text ─ that someone in the household was breaching a copyright law by accessing the series outside of means provided by a T.V. network.
No such notification has ever been levied before concerning anything that has been watched online by any of us ─ so why for this weak T.V. series and not, say, a 'blockbuster' movie?
Bizarre.
Other shows watched last evening via our Android TV Box included an episode of Supergirl and The Man in the High Castle.
My brother and I also watched another episode movie in the old Edgar Wallace Mysteries series ─ this time, 1962's Playback. In this instance, I used a browser app that is downloaded into our Android TV Box, and accessed a source for the hour-long movie at this link at OK.ru.
I found it interesting how a relatively young and good-looking police constable (as played by actor Barry Foster) could be so beguiled by a pretty German blonde (played by Margit Saad) who was married to a rich man, that he could be persuaded to murder the man so that he ─ the bobby ─ could share in the life insurance she would receive.

We never saw her nor the bobby actually 'making out', but I expect that she must have been 'putting out' to get the bobby so helplessly fixated on her. Consequently, she (that is, her character) must have been overwhelming in the sack.
Among the fare that my brother and I were to watch this morning was a documentary uploaded to Rumble by GaryNullFilmLibrary: The War on Health, The FDA's Cult of Tyranny.
War on Health is the first documentary detailing and challenging the FDA agenda and its allegiance with the international Codex Alimentarius, which hopes to establish a monolithic food and health regime.
Betraying its founding mandate to assure drug, food and chemical safety in the interests of public health, the FDA today is a repressive bureaucracy serving pharmaceutical and agricultural greed and profits.
The documentary was over 1½ hours long (1:37:41), and I see now why it made no mention of the deadly mRNA jabs, despite talking about vaccines ─ the documentary was produced in 2012.

Perhaps I will conclude my post here. I have felt wiped out today due to my late hours last night ─ too pathetic to dare any strenuous exercising. Nor have I any drive to get out for an early evening walk.
This misbehaviour must not go on.
