Recall David Eby!

Early last evening's Christmas movie choice was 2016's Girlfriends of Christmas Past. I tuned it in somewhat reluctantly because I expected that it was likely to be naught but a comedic romp with nothing of merit emotionally. In fact, I felt a little guilty for pouring myself a stiff shot of Scotch before having a glass of red wine ─ I was gnawed with guilt that I was wasting precious emotion-enhancing drink to no good end.

Nevertheless, the movie did have its tender scenes that quite touched me.

The lead actress was someone named Tammin Sursok. She was certainly cute enough, so I kept watching.

She was to be joined in her revenge quest by two previous jilt victims of her ex-boyfriend, and these two ladies helped broaden the movie's appeal.

I believe that it was actress Abigail Klein who played a young blonde whom initially I believed was going to be a ditsy character, but she proved to have her smarts and skills. And in fact it was the bonding between her and the slightly older, straitlaced character played by actress Lindsey McKeon that most affected me emotionally.

I loved watching these two unite in clear friendship, and seeing Lindsey's character let her wilder side loose.

I wished that I could know these two!

It proved to be a fairly lovely movie overall, even if I would never re-watch it on my own during any future Christmas season.

For some reason, all of the links that I tried for sources in the main apps I used that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box would stall at the same point well under 10 minutes into the movie, so I ultimately had to watch it at a FMovies link. However, I see now that it is also presently available at this link at OK.ru.

I do recommend the movie is you want to watch something quite fun, and which is not really mean-spirited ─ all of the characters seemed to come out of the story positively.

My wife came home sensibly early later in the evening, following her long workday at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. My brother was home from his daily socializing at that point.

After he and I were done watching our shows well into the midnight hour, my wife let me know before bedtime (we have separate bedrooms) that today her youngest son was going to line her up with a one-way flight to Rome using my Aeroplan points which I have never had occasion to use (I had something over 80,000 of them), but she would also need my abused credit card to cover additional costs that could not be covered by points.

I did not mind about the Aeroplan points ─ they were just wasting away. But my credit card was another story ─ it is due to her abuse that its balance is so damned high. A $500 payment that I made last month finally dropped its balance below $16,000, even though the net benefit of those $500 was only $190.37 due to ongoing automated debits that account has, along with various card-related charges I have no control over.

I had seen that the extra flight charges might amount to nigh $300 ─ that would badly set me back in my weak attempts to pay down that damned card's debt. I only have retirement pension for income ─ absolutely nothing else.

So I went to bed feeling almost distraught.

I did manage to get to sleep, but I was awake well before daybreak, and found myself again worrying helplessly about my financial plight, unsure how the monthly mortgage was going to be met later this month when I had not yet made a payment to the credit card for this month ─ nor for another smaller one that is my wife's fault, and which has a balance a little under $9,500. I have been making $150 payments that are slowly reducing it. The card is 'frozen', so it is no longer being used ... but I still have to find the means of making a payment towards it.

When my morning finally commenced and I rose, I felt quite ill slept, and physically lacking.

My brother had to leave to go and pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. to drive her to work. Since my wife was not yet up ─ she was not to have to start work today until 4 or 4:30 p.m. ─ I went out to the backyard tool shed for some exercising there for the first time since Wednesday, I believe.

I weighed myself dressed as I was for that foray outside: 192 pounds. Fearing a possibly poor showing in the pull-ups and chin-ups that were scheduled, I actually fared decently. My 73-year-old frame managed the following repetitions in the six sets that I tackled: 4 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2.

I was surprised to be that able considering how rough I had felt upon rising earlier.

The outdoor temperature was well above freezing, and I could feel an odd spitting of rain. Come the afternoon, the rain was steady.

When my brother was back from his errand for Bev, we were to watch Odessa Orlewicz's 57-minute video of yesterday: Interview- Recall David Eby For His Canadian Dystopian NDP Nightmare Bill 36. How YOU Can Help Make It Happen.

Jaws are dropping internationally about David Eby bringing into law bill 36 in BC, Canada. This is something from a horrific novel. Doctors are freaking out and so is the awake population that actually follow what is going on. American outlets are calling to find out more about this insanity. I interview Rick Dignard, Sal about participating in this really important recall, as well as Stand United about the affiliated protest. https://standunitedbc.ca/bill-36 (scroll to the bottom) and soon to be ready: http://recalldavideby.ca/ Social Media Links: https://www.instagram.com/davidebyrecall/ https://twitter.com/DavidEbyRecall/

Odessa's other three guests (besides Rick Dignard) in the Zoom call were Marcella Desjarlais & James Davison of StandUnitedBC.ca; and Salvatore Vetro.

I also tuned in Thursday's Rumble episode by the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation: Full Episode #61: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. - The Man Who Built A Movement

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is founder, chairman and chief litigation counsel for Children’s Health Defense. He is the founder of Waterkeeper Alliance — the world’s largest clean water advocacy group — and served as its longtime chairman and attorney. Kennedy’s reputation as a resolute defender of the environment and children’s health stems from his success in litigating hundreds of major lawsuits. Kennedy provided mentorship and guidance to dozens of organizations, including VSRF, that formed to defend health freedom in response to the push for Covid-19 vaccines amid unanswered questions about their safety and efficacy. In 2021, Kennedy's book, “The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health” sold more than one million copies and was on the New York Times Best Sellers List for 17 weeks.

The video was not too short of two hours (1:52:50), and was running overlong for my brother who wanted some bed rest ere leaving early in the afternoon for another day of socializing, so I closed it down around the 1¼-hour mark. We will likely finish watching it tomorrow.

I did my best to seek a nap before my wife rose, but she foiled me. Her youngest son did the work of arranging her flight, and my credit card was used ─ fortunately, the charge was below $200.

My wife also had $500 transferred into my weak chequing account, which only had a balance of ... $85? I forget now. I dare not touch that money, for I must wait and see how much of the $1,200 that she took from the account on December 28 is going to be repaid.

She had promised to make the repayment before she leaves on her January 23 flight ─ which may well be the very day that the monthly mortgage is going to be debited from the chequing account.

Anyway, when she left for work into the early mid-afternoon, she said that she might not be back until sometime Tuesday (she normally spends her free weekend time elsewhere).

I am presently feeling somewhat agitated as I type these words at 6:05 p.m., so even though I had considered myself able to resist having any more drink in tandem with a Christmas movie, I am no longer so inclined ─ I am going to tune one in just so I can do some drinking and maybe have a bit of an emotional breakdown before my brother shows up.
