Early last evening I was only to watch a little over half of a movie, so I shall not discuss it until after I have seen the entire feature. It is noteworthy that I refrained from having aught to drink during it.
And although I did later head off for a walk ─ at 8:27 p.m. at latest ─ I settled on a course that was likely only a tad over three miles in total, shopping during the return at Save-On-Foods which is just under a mile from here.
As well anticipated, at returning I found that my younger brother was home from his daily socializing, and watching T.V. He did not seem inordinately intoxicated.
Since it was early enough, I had my usual two cans of strong (8% alcohol) malt while we were watching T.V. together, one show of which was an episode of the old Edgar Wallace Mysteries ─ in this instance, it was September 1962's Solo for Sparrow.
In the opening credits I noticed the name Michael Caine, and sure enough it did prove to be the well-known actor who was then still unfamous. He played a lesser member of a band of five dangerous jewel thieves.
To watch the short movie on T.V., I used a browser app that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box, tapping into this present source at website OK.ru.
Anyway, for the first time in three nights I got to bed reasonably into the early a.m., although it was still likely in the neighbourhood of 1:30 a.m. Peculiarly, around four hours later I was awake enough to think that it might be approaching 8 a.m. and perhaps time for me to rise for the morning.
What was up with that?
Likely the cause was rooted in the fact that the two cans of malt were my supper ─ I had only eaten once that day, in the very early afternoon.
Disappointingly, this morning when my brother left to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. to drive her to work, I dressed up for some exercise out in the backyard tool shed; and upon weighing myself as so dressed, I registered the same as I did yesterday: 194 pounds.
Unlike yesterday, though, I carried through with the exercising, somehow managing repetitions in the six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups as follows: 4 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2. It was definitely a strain, and only achieved because I knew that those seem to have become my current maximums. Had there been no such spur, my full total would probably have been two or even three repetitions fewer.
We had some rain last evening after I was home from my walk, but today the morning grew progressively bluer of sky until blue sky seemed prevalent for the remainder of the daytime.
As for morning T.V. with my brother, we watched two videos posted yesterday to Christopher James Pritchard's channel (A Warrior Calls) on Rumble.
The first was maybe in excess of 1¼ hours, and was not anything that Christopher was involved with: Self-Assembling Structures in Covid-19 Vax.
The hostess in that Zoom presentation seemed to be Dr. Ana Maria Mihalcea, with guests Dr. David Nixon, Dr. Shimon Yanowitz, and Electrical Engineer Matt Taylor. I am not going to reproduce the speculative video description ─ refer to it via the above link if you are interested.
The second video was just over an hour in length: We Will Not Tolerate Malfeasance.
As usual, Christopher covered much ─ too much for him nor I to leave a description.
My brother and I were to also watch what turned out to be only part of a documentary on female wrestler Chyna, so I am going to have to research and find the entire feature before I say anything more about it.
He sought some bed rest after that last video; and after I had a meal, I sought a nap, finding my brother long gone when I finally emerged from my bedroom toward mid-afternoon.
Apparently today is the day each week (or this week, at any rate) that my youngest stepson and the rest of his cohorts have to report in to headquarters; otherwise, he spends the weekday workday here working at home, this being week three for him as such. He is an agent for the credit card section of a financial institution.
My afternoon is approaching its conclusion, so I am going to get this post published and watch the remainder of the movie I spoke about earlier. I might later get out for a short walk, but that is uncertain.
