Will They Take Our Freedom?

There was to be no excursion for me after dark yesterday ─ I had written of my intention to make the two-mile round trip hike to my financial institution's ATM to withdraw most of $200 that I had deposited the evening before. I was concerned that my casino-addicted wife would gamble the money away after she finished work late in the evening yesterday, and ergo my planned withdrawal.

I first had a hot bath, and then watched an episode of a show on T.V.

To my dismay, I declined dreadfully ─ I could have napped, if not actually gone to bed.

So I came here to my computer and reviewed the details that I had been E-mailed by my financial institution concerning the new private (as opposed to any joint accounts with my wife) chequing account I had applied for online late that afternoon.

From what I could understand, it seemed possible that I could activate the account myself online at any time, so I gave it a shot. And sure enough, I seemed to have a new account displaying within my account dashboard when I logged into it.

So I tried transferring the money from my joint chequing account to this new private account, and the transfer processed without a hitch.

Now all I have to do is wait and see if any of the money suddenly gets removed by my wife from the new account ─ after all, if she could access my dashboard and see the various chequing and savings accounts within it before, why would she be unable to 'see' this new chequing account?

I can but wait and see. I had received well over $300 yesterday as a quarterly RRIF payment, so I also transferred that out of my joint account; and consequently, the new account has a balance of $600.

This obviously left me with no need to make the hike to the ATM; therefore, coupled with my debilitating physical lassitude, I remained home.

I could always take an early evening walk today just for the heck of it. I would not be having a sapping hot bath ─ I only bathe every three or four days.

After my younger brother was home last evening from his socializing, we were to watch T.V. via our Android TV Box into the latter half of the midnight hour.

This morning we were to watch yesterday's upload to Rumble by A Warrior Calls, a video over an hour in duration even if the lengthy opening and closing boring sequences were discounted: They Will Never Take Our Freedom.

Christopher James Pritchard covers too much for me to care to bother trying to detail any of it here.

Of course, my brother and I watched other material, including an hour-long Bitchute documentary titled Who's Afraid of Machiavelli?

A 2013 BBC Documentary hosted by Alan Yentob and Peter Capaldi.

Alan Yentob talks to contributors including Colonel Tim Collins, who kept a copy of The Prince with him in Iraq; plus Hilary Devey, Alastair Campbell and Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin.

Actually, we had watched over half of the documentary yesterday, so we simply continued with the remaining portion today.

By the way, for the second consecutive weekday, both of my stepsons were gone when my brother and I rose this morning.

My brother had to go out this morning to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. and drive her to work, so that was my opportunity for some backyard tool shed exercising ─ most specifically, the pull-ups and chin-ups.

Yesterday before my bath, I had weighed myself while entirely naked, and was not too happy to discover that I was around 190 pounds. This morning, weighing myself fully clothed and in a pair of runners just prior to going out to the tool shed, I was around 195 pounds.

I was able to continue managing six sets of the pull-ups and chin-ups with a repetition showing of 4 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2, but it took all that I felt I had to offer. I keep wondering if it is possible for a 73-year-old to make any further gains at such exercises with such a heavy workload? After all, I am not quite five feet and 11 inches in height ─ I think that working out at pull-ups and chin-ups with 195 pounds at my age is probably beyond almost all of my contemporaries.

All else I have to report is that the day once again seems marked with very light rain betimes.

Finally, my wife unexpectedly showed up this afternoon ─ possibly as early as 2:30 p.m. Normally she works on Tuesdays at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, and this is her final Tuesday before her January 23rd flight to Italy.

She claims that she is going to deposit as much as she can tomorrow of the money she has recently taken from my chequing account, for the monthly mortgage is normally taken from the account on the 22nd; but since that day is a Sunday, likely it will not happen until the day of her flight.

I hope to heck that she is able to come up with a surprisingly substantial amount for that deposit. She plans to be away for around two months.

Actually, I hope and wish that she could come up with a bewilderingly amount of money ... but I am not expecting this will be possible.

Note: With her home, I will not be taking any sort of hike this evening.
