Their Hypocrisy

As I type these words into the second half of this Saturday afternoon, it doth appear that my wife does not have to work today ─ for the past six or more weeks, she had been working the latter part of each Saturday at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.

The restaurant closes for 1½ or so hours mid-afternoon, and reopens at 4 or 4:30 p.m.

She only has two more workweeks to go before she embarks on her flight to Italy that will see her gone for approximately two months.

At her return, she does not want to work at the same restaurant any further because she is addicted to the casino nearby it, and has put us scores of thousands of dollars into debt because of this addiction these past three or so years.

I am presently considering opening a chequing account at another financial institution just to put my monthly pension out of her reach.

Anyway, with my wife home, my time for this post is limited. She usually spends her free weekend time elsewhere, so I expect that she will probably depart early in the evening ─ if not before ─ and not return until possibly Tuesday. Notwithstanding, my post here will need to be published by then because I plan to watch a movie late this afternoon or early in the evening.

But enough of that topic for today ─ which has been unexpectedly sunny, incidentally.

This morning my brother and I were to watch a couple of videos ere my wife rose around the finish of the noon hour ─ I ensured that by then, I was abed seeking my usual early afternoon nap. (She and I have separate bedrooms.)

The first video was one of Dr. Joseph Mercola's ─ a 51-minute effort posted to BitChute on January 4: Dr. Mercola Interviews Dr. David Perlmutter on the Link Between Sugar and Alzheimers Disease.

Alzheimer's disease, a severe form of dementia, affects more than 6 million Americans, according to 2022 statistics.1 One in 9 seniors over the age of 65 has Alzheimer's; and the disease kills more than breast and prostate cancers combined.

One in 3 seniors in the U.S. dies with Alzheimer’s, and the disease kills more than breast and prostate cancers combined.

A growing body of research suggests there’s a powerful connection between your diet and your risk of developing Alzheimer's disease, via similar pathways that cause Type 2 diabetes.

Some research shows that sugar and other carbohydrates can disrupt your brain function even if you’re not diabetic or have any signs of dementia.

Long-term, sugar can contribute to the shrinking of your hippocampus, which is a hallmark symptom of Alzheimer's disease.

The researchers propose that lowering glucose levels, even if they’re within the “normal” range, may have a positive influence on cognition in older people.

I must confess that I had my suspicions ─ and still do ─ that the interview predated COVID, for not one reference was made to the virus or disease, nor the mRNA injections and other measures imposed upon the world in a purported effort to deal with it.

How can all of that be ignored in a discussion of factors that can probably one day lead to Alzheimer's disease?

The second video was the first instalment of a documentary series, and which can be found on BitChute and Rumble. We watched it on Rumble: Cult Of The Medics - Chapter 1: THE CULT OF THE MEDICS.

This is Chapter One of a new documentary series about the occult history of the medical industrial complex, created by David Whitehead.

Prior to watching these videos, my brother had left to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. to drive her to work, so I took that opportunity to tackle some exercise out in the backyard tool shed, first weighing myself while fully clothed and wearing runners: 193 or so pounds.

As seems to be my normal maximum of late where the pull-ups and chin-ups are concerned, the repetitions that I managed in the six sets were 4 - 2 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2.

Note that the first two sets are overhand pull-ups, then two sets of chin-ups, and finally two sets of pull-ups with my hands each gripping separate bars between which I then pull myself up.

I top these off with a set of push-ups.

I do wonder if I am ever going to increase my repetitions. Maybe at age 73, I am exceptional to be managing as many as I do at the fully-clothed weight that I logged in at.
