Early last evening I tuned in and watched the 1994 movie The Disappearance of Vonnie. I watched it for the same reason that I watched the movie Liebestraum that I wrote about yesterday ─ they both had a very young Alicia Witt in the cast who was still only in her late teens in the more recent of those two movies.
Her role in Liebestraum was very brief, and approximately in the middle of the movie. As well, she is shown throughout the concluding credits playing "Liebestrรคume" on a piano ─ the very piece that you can have play as offered in that Wikipedia article on the composition.
In The Disappearance of Vonnie, Alicia looked to be younger than her 18 or so years; so when she was almost serving as actor Joe Penny's character's new 'lady of the house' following the suspicious disappearance of his wife Vonnie, it seemed nearly bizarre. Who could not immediately suspect that the worst was occurring?
I had completely forgotten about actor Joe Penny. And likewise, actress Ann Jillian proved to be another 'blast from the past' for me. Both of them were very familiar to me over 30 years ago.
Another actress I vaguely recognized who was also in her late teens in the movie, but whose name I have never known (and will undoubtedly continue to forget) is Gabrielle Miller.
The movie was definitely interesting. I could not easily find a fast source for it in a couple or so streaming apps that I tried which are downloaded into our Android TV Box, so I watched it with a browser app instead, locating this present source at WAT32.com.
Wikipedia has absolutely nothing on the murder that the movie is based upon ─ it does not even have an article talking about the movie. But I did locate this old clipping from February 18, 2004, published in the Green Bay Press-Gazette:
Although my wife was home, she primarily remained in her bedroom in the late afternoon and through the evening. Initially she was watching videos and such on her tablet, but it does make me feel the rift that exists between us.
And after my younger brother was home from his daily socializing, I cannot recall that she ever again ventured downstairs to visit the kitchen nor her sons in their den area. By the time my brother and I were done with T.V. for the night, she was already long retired to her bed (we have separate bedrooms).
I had wanted to apprise her of the tallying I have done since late last June that has her owing my chequing account nearly $5,000, most of that money stolen by her to gamble away at a casino near where she works in a Thai restaurant.
However, I had decided that I would not lay this revelation upon her close to her bedtime, for it would likely destroy her chance of easily getting to sleep. She had a full workday today at the restaurant ... nor am I a wholly inconsiderate monster.
She rose this morning much earlier than she usually does on her full workdays ─ she may have gotten up soon after 9 a.m. The restaurant does not open until 11 a.m.; so even considering her fairly long drive, she usually does not rise until as late as 9:45 a.m. to have her shower and begin her other readying.
When she rose, my brother and I were watching a 41-minute video posted to Rumble yesterday by Canadians for Truth: Unstoppable Truth with Jamie Salรฉ and guest Dr. Eric Payne.
Dr. Eric Payne is a pediatric neurologist specializing in neurocritical care who has been speaking up for three years.
He has the information and research to back his findings. Eric and Jamie talk updated research, what can parents do now and what's happening with people who come forward about their injuries after vaccination.
This is The Unstoppable Truth

I did not realize until now that the video had been recorded as far back as it apparently was ─ why wait so long before publishing it, I wonder?
We next watched video on YouTube that we were to learn had been truncated by maybe 10 minutes because the host felt that the content would catch the attention of the YouTube censors. Consequently, had I known this beforehand, I would have again turned to Rumble to tune in this Slightly Offens*ve 50-minute upload of two days ago: The Horrifying Rise of STATE-ASSISTED SUICIDE | Guest: Odessa Orlewicz | Ep. 307.
In our increasingly Godless society, people are becoming more depressed, more narcissistic, hedonistic. This nihilism is getting to such a point that people are killing themselves en masse. While this is not a new tragedy, state sponsored suicide is. This satanic ritual is being normalized right now in our neighbor Canada. They advertise what they call “medical assistance in dying” (MAIDS) as a solution for pain, depression, PTSD, and chronic illness. As time continues, the restrictions on MAIDS usage seem all but non-existent.
To discuss this and much more, Eliah Schaffer is joined by Odessa Orlewicz
Wait a minute! I see that the above video is exactly as long as the YouTube version that my brother and I watched. What is with that?
The third video that we were to watch was uploaded to Rumble by America's Untold Stories at the end of October 2021, was 40-minutes long, and was the first of several in a series: Alec Baldwin and the Rust Tragedy - Part 1 - Who is at Fault?
The Alec Baldwin movie Rust had a tragic shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead and wounded director Joel Souza. There are three people who have been named as having involvement in the tragedy.
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is the daughter of the legendary Hollywood arms expert Thell Reed but was she actually ready to be an armorer?
Dave Halls is a 1st Assistant Director with extensive experience but a reputation of having safety concerns.
Alec Baldwin has extensive history in all kinds of movies and is a producer on the film. How could he have made such an error?
Mark Groubert and Eric Hunley look into what happened and discuss how things occur on independent films.
It was definitely interesting, so we will gradually work our way through the other videos in this series.
We finished our viewing entertainment with our third and final sitting of the nigh 1½-hour Archive.org blockbuster Vice Versa: Chyna Documentary 2021.
“VICE VERSA: Chyna”, the documentary will focus on the highs and lows of her career; the good, the bad and the troubles of fame. The phenomenal, mega-stardorm of Chyna and the conflicting, self-destructive sweetheart of the fragile, Joanie Laurer.
Chyna was a fabulous figure when she would stride towards the wrestling ring in her black outfit ─ no woman back then could have matched her. I always felt a strong attraction to her, so it was truly sad to see the poor, troubled, and badly ageing woman that she was becoming who would die at the too-young age of 46.
Fie on Vince McMahon and disloyal Triple H! They're both monumental pricks.
My brother sought some bed rest following that documentary's finish, and I first had a meal, and then sought my early afternoon nap. My brother was gone for the day when I later rose.
I was considering hiking to my financial institution's nearest ATM this evening after dark to deposit a cheque of $202.15 that my brother had given me over a week ago as his monthly expenses reconciliation, but I cannot trust that my casino-addicted wife will come directly home following work this evening.
What I may do is wait until my brother and I finish watching T.V. this evening. If she has come home, then perhaps I will venture the hike of nearly a mile to get to that ATM.
We have been having fairly light rain since sometime last evening. I do not know if it has been continuous, but it does seem possible that it may be the case.
My afternoon is nearly expired, so I am going to publish this post and have a bath. Then I will see about tuning in another Alicia Witt movie.
