πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ Fail, Fail Again

Twitter: Dr. Eli David

Debauchary.

It mattered naught that early last evening I got to watch a wonderful 2016 Christmas movie entitled Heaven Sent. That movie was nearly perfect in terms of affecting the emotions.

I thought that it fell somewhat in its finish. For one thing, since when did Marley Shelton's character manage to get pregnant with her estranged husband played by actor Christian Kane? I had the impression that their estrangement had been lengthy, for they had even ceased seeing a marriage counsellor and were at the point of signing divorce paperwork.

Christian Kane was familiar to me, but I have no idea just why. Marley was not. And of course, the young little-girl angel masterfully and convincingly played by Mallory James Mahoney was also not known to me.

The angel was supposedly eight years old, but Mallory was probably 11 when the movie was filmed ─ if it was filmed during 2016.

I watched the movie on T.V. using a browser app that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box, but I now do not recall just which website was the source for the movie. Nevertheless, a fast search reveals that it is presently available at WAT32, or bmovies, or 123Movies (which opened up a new tab and played the movie at this link), or another 123Movies alternative. These are just examples ─ there were numerous others that I found using the Yandex search engine. Just be vigilant about any popups those movie websites may try to impose upon you before allowing you the movie to play.

I think that this Christmas movie will have been the last that I am going to watch this Christmas season. The shot of Scotch and the glass of red wine that were taken during the movie, compounded later with two cans of strong (8% alcohol) malt after my brother got home from his socializing, are conducive toward the dissolution I too often seek instead of promptly getting to bed in the new a.m. once we finish watching our shows together.

I thought it was bad when I wrote in yesterday's post that I had remained up until something like 2:30 a.m. and had a relatively ruinous day; but this time I never got to bed until something like 3:30 a.m.

At least I exercised yesterday afternoon ─ today has found me feeling too wasted. Even my early afternoon nap was unusually long. However, I can ascribe some of that to knowing that I would not be trying to exercise during the later afternoon. Also, I plan to go for a fairly long walk this evening that will culminate in a little grocery shopping on the return leg of that walk.

So I must seek to avoid these emotionally draining Christmas movies that require me to do some drinking during them to better affect those vulnerable feelings. It is time to make a break from them. Then I can revisit the Christmas movie experience late next Summer or into the Fall. For now, I must seek to return to whatever I can do to improve my physical well-being, and hopefully strengthen my moral resistance to a specific addiction I will not speak about.

The day has been marked with some rain, and of course was overcast. I am not expecting that I will need to be concerned with anything like an evening deluge at any point during my walk, which ought to be between 5¼ to 5½ miles minimally.

My brother and I watched a few videos this morning, but the only one I will identify was an upload to Rumble two days ago by Open Mike with Michael Thiessen: Deanna McLeod Pt. 3: Vaccine Conflicts of Interest

On this week's episode of OPEN MIKE, Mike is joined for a thrid time by Canadian Covid Care Alliance (CCCA) clinical researcher Deanna McLeod, founder of Kaleidoscope Strategies and Covid Sense, this time to talk about the serious conflicts of interests surrounding the COVID-19 jabs. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO WANT TO MISS THIS!

Watch Parts 1 & 2:
Part 1 - "Omicron Boosters: Untested, Unsafe, Inaffective": https://rumble.com/vontob-episode-66-deanna-mcleod-kaleidoscope-strategies-covid-sense.html;
Part 2 - "Myocarditis and the Vaccines":  https://rumble.com/v1votgi-deanna-mcleod-why-we-must-stop-the-shots-pt.-2-myocarditis-and-other-seriou.html

The video was nearly two hours long (1:51:34), and was going to essentially run throughout the noon hour, so my brother quit from it early into the noon hour in favour of some bed rest before he left early in the afternoon for the remainder of the day.

I broke from the video myself with less than 20 minutes to go, but I have been playing the remainder while working on this post.

We did previously watch the two earlier interviews with Deanna that are listed in the description.

This is now the second week in which my youngest stepson has been working from home for the (I believe) credit card department of a financial institution. He has said that he will now work a weekday schedule, and that it will be a regular daytime gig.

And although it is effectively full time, he said that the team has to meet in person at the workplace one day each week ─ I do not know if if will always be the same day or not.

Anyway, good for him ─ I wish that I could have landed a work-from-home job when I was struggling with my wretched so-called "career".

My afternoon is running out, so I am going to bring this post to a close. I do not want to risk having my brother show up before I get away on that evening walk like happened on (I believe) this last Thursday, so I will likely seek to leave home at 8 p.m. rather than 9 p.m.

I would like to watch a movie meantime, but I will not be having any drinks with it. The intention is not to devolve into an emotional weep-session ─ this will be for entertainment and interest alone.
