πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ Wrong Decisions

Yet another willing and eager descent into depravity.

Last evening around 8:32 p.m., I set off on the 5.625-mile round trip hike to the nearest Real Canadian Superstore outlet (Google Map). I had no genuine shopping need apart from Dairyland's one-litre carton of whipping cream, so if I found none in the dairy section, I would not have bought anything else and left the store.

The walk was the major reason I went, for otherwise I would have to get up at 2 a.m. overnight to have a 5½-or-so-mile walk, and I am not exactly in love with having my night interrupted like that.

There was no threat of rain, and in fact much of earlier dampness on the pavement and sidewalks was dried. Also, it was mild out ─ we have had over a week of daily record-setting low temperatures.

I was to find the whipping cream, so I selected two cartons; I also bought two one-litre containers of liquid honey, and a loaf of quality organic bread. There were other items I could have bought, but the primary purpose of shopping had been met, and I do not fare well when I have too much to carry on the long walk home.

It was 9:41 p.m. when I checked the time outside of the store on my way back home; and it was 10:42 p.m. once I was outside the front door of home.

My younger brother by this time was home and watching T.V., so I soon enough joined him. Employing our Android TV Box, I tuned in The Man in the High Castle ─ we have now begun the fourth and final season. Nevertheless, despite how interesting and exciting the premiere episode of that season was, my brother's beer-drenched brain was unable to sustain consciousness and he several times lapsed into oblivion, sometimes with snoring.

It is exceedingly annoying when he awakens and feels that he must disrupt my involvement in the show by mimicking English German-accented Nazi phraseology in the same ridiculous tone of voice that he uses when he does similarly for English Japanese-accented phrases.

I also do not appreciate his questioning about the episode's proceedings that he did not understand, for this is mainly attributable to either his drunken denseness or the fact that he had been unconscious and thus lost the flow of events.

Incidentally, during the closing credits to that episode, I recognized the name of actress Tamlyn Tomita ─ earlier this week I was amazed at how beautiful and sexy this actress was in one of the vignettes in the movie Four Doors, not realizing that I was seeing her older (by well over 20 years) self in a recurring small role in the T.V. series that I had been watching for many months.

Anyway, my brother and I ended the night with an episode of Inside No. 9.

I realize that I speak very harshly of my brother when we are together for T.V. in the evenings, but you must keep in mind that he is drunk absolutely every evening, seven days a week ─ it becomes so damned tiresome having to endure this noxious behaviour nearly on a daily basis. And what makes it worse is that I have absolutely no one else I can spend time with ─ I either have some evening drinks with him, or else I must drink alone.

There is no one else.

I will not cite that as the overriding factor in me remaining up after he retired for the night, for it was nearly 4 a.m. when at last I was released from my unspoken addiction and got to bed. But his drunken companionship is hardly sustaining nor elevating.

Despite the late hour of my bedtime, I was to rise for the morning shortly after 8 a.m. At least my brother was not having to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m., so I was excused from having to confront a backyard tool shed exercise session while he was away.

Yesterday I failed to mention in my post that day that I did have such a morning session, and I matched the previous morning's repetitions in the six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups: 4 - 3 - 3 - 2 - 2 - 2. My fully clothed weight ─ including runners ─ prior to going to the shed was at least 195 pounds.

Forty years ago, that performance would have been eclipsed by my younger self, I fully expect. But I cannot escape that I am now 73 years old, so those repetition numbers are continually being reported by me because I am never going to likely do better, and I therefore want them on the books if I am around to refer to them 20 years or more into the future.

This morning's T.V. fare with my sober brother was of course different from what we watch while drinking, so putting our Android TV Box to use again, I first tuned in a 45-minute upload to Rumble late yesterday of Sherry Strong's Children's Health Defense Canada: Jamie Sale - The Great Defenders Hour - Olympic Gold for Defending Our Freedom.

TURNING THE TABLES.

I had the gift of being interviewed by Jamie Sale last week (seems like a month ago now) for her show 'The Unstoppable Truth' and tomorrow I'm interviewing her for my 'The Great Defenders' series of interviews.

While many know her as an gold medalist Olympic figure skater and life coach, what I learned about her on the 6+ hour return drive to the studio is that she is kind, courageous, smart, a fiercely loving mother and has handled the hits and losses of the past few years with grace.

Please comment, like and share the love.

I am quite sure that Jamie SalΓ©'s show will be titled "Unstoppable Truth" ─ it is not preceded by an article.

Jamie strongly impresses me. I just do not understand why her show does not yet exist, for already her interview of Sherry Strong is apparently over a week old, and I am feeling less inclined to tune it in once Unstoppable Truth is finally brought to life.

Next my brother and I watched Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson's January 23 upload to Rumble that was not too far short of an hour long: Live with Alex Newman.

President and founder of Liberty Sentinel Media, Alex Newman joins us today. We are going cover the Davos meetings, Biden and hidden documents and we will have some Canadian news for you as well.

And the last video of mention was 51 minutes and streamed just today to Rumble by Children's Health Defense: All Cause Mortality With Denis Rancourt, Ph.D..

I found no description accompanying that video, but the title ought to be ample explanation enough ─ Denis Rancourt was being interviewed by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

My brother and I topped off our viewing with an episode of The Last O.G.

The day seems to have been marked with much light rain, and things did look rather misty early this morning.

As a result of my shopping expedition last evening, I have been more 'crippled' than usual ─ much stiffness and lameness. Nevertheless, I do intend to attempt some exercise here in the house before the afternoon is done.

I am looking forward to watching some T.V. this evening ─ possibly leading off with a movie.
