That bath I had late last afternoon soon had me drained of all vigour ─ I must seek to remember this and not blindly think that I will be doing much of anything later on.
I did watch a movie, though ─ 1996's Citizen Ruth.
I thought that I was familiar enough with actress Laura Dern that I would be able to recognize her if I ever watched something featuring her, but I did not know that it was Laura playing the central character Ruth.
There were a few cast members whom I did of course recognize.
The movie was interesting enough that at first I considered cutting out of it so that I could watch it with my younger brother, for it seemed likely that he would have enjoyed it. And maybe he would have, but I opted to continue on with the movie regardless.
Incidentally, I watched it just because Alicia Witt had a small role, and I wanted to see her.
I never realized that Laura was as tall as she seemed to be. Nor do I remember her being so lanky and thin. Nevertheless, there were two or three scenes in which the young woman (then possibly as young as 27) presented a rather provocative pantied bottom.
And rather skinny legs or not, there was definitely something there, too.
The movie fell down at its conclusion, in my opinion. And I suppose that is my consolation in not sharing the movie with my brother.
Sure, "Ruth" got to run off with the $15,000 that "Harlan" had promised her if she were to accede to allowing her unborn child to be aborted (it miscarried instead, but no one knew); but as he had declared earlier in the movie, she would blow through that small windfall in about three days because she was a junkie ─ or at least, she was hooked on cheap inhalants such as airplane glue, varnish, and so forth.
So the movie ended with "Ruth" running away from everyone entirely unnoticed, the money satchel firmly in her possession. There was absolutely no reason that she was going to manage to turn her life around ─ not with just $15,000.
I did not feel good about that. I wanted hope for her, and I saw no evidence for any.
But if you wish to give the movie a shot, there are online sources ─ three suggestions are WAT32, or StreamM4U, or FMovies. Just be wary of popups or new browser tabs anytime you click on the video screen.
My wife would have arrived in Italy sometime last evening, but I never heard from her until a text arrived today at 12:47 p.m.:

Obviously she is not able to drive her car around like she can here in the Greater Vancouver area of B.C. She is truly at the mercy of the sister of hers who has made Italy her home.
Anyway, I heard nothing further from her ─ at 12:47 p.m. my time, it would have been 9:47 p.m. in Rome. I do not know just when her second text showed up, but when I found it, it could have been two hours later.
Evidently she posted these five photos to her Facebook account at 5:25 a.m. today ─ my time:
She also posted a four-minute video, but it is entirely in Thai. However, I was able to identify the location due to tracking down the address of a business that I was able to locate by way of the name on its storefront door ─ she was on Via Barberini (Google Map).
I sure hope that she goes easy on the spending!
My brother and I watched some T.V. this morning (via our Android TV Box), leading off with two videos that had been uploaded to Rumble yesterday by A Warrior Calls.

I reluctantly included the above description, for my brother and I are not persuaded by the claims being made. And we have watched all of the videos in this series to date.

Please refer to the description given at that link for the video ─ it is too long for me to care to reproduce it here. My brother and I were already familiar with Boyd Anderson, having seen him interviewed many months ago by Odessa Orlewicz.
We also watched a Dr. Joseph Mercola video, but despite it being identified as having been uploaded to his BitChute account on January 23, I was suspicious that it might predate the scamdemic / plandemic / casedemic.
Imagine my irritation when I later researched and found that the darned thing was seven bloody years old! And that is why I am not going to link to it.
I can appreciate that Dr. Mercola has a wealth of video interviews he has hosted, but I damned well prefer knowing beforehand if one of them is something from his archives ─ I have lots more to be viewing that is current and more relevant to what is going on now.
Hence, I am going to be far more suspicious about his posted videos.
We finished up our viewing with an episode of the old British comedy series My Family. My brother then sought some bed rest before taking off for the day. He was still in his bedroom when finally I sought a nap at 1:30 p.m. or so.
There may have been at least one rain shower today, but I never actually noticed it occurring. Whatever the case, cold weather is again coming for the weekend ─ I have been appreciating these well-above-freezing temperatures that have been the rule.
I have an early a.m. walk scheduled, but I think that instead I am going to see if I can motivate myself to head off this evening on the 5.625-mile round trip hike to the nearest Real Canadian Superstore. If I do that, then I need not concern myself with another long walk until early Saturday.
So to that end, I am going to seek some further bed rest and hopefully manage to lapse into a nap. Otherwise, I am likely to peter out and not feel up to going anywhere.
