A Comment or Two on Wolf Creek 2

Whilst awaiting my younger brother's homecoming last evening from his daily socializing, I watched an episode of Prodigal Son (episode nine ─ "Pied-A-Terre" ─ of season one), and then at least one women's MMA match. Actually, it may have been Muay Thai.

Then once he was home, I tuned in a movie ─ 2013's sick Wolf Creek 2. We had previously watched Wolf Creek on August 13, 2018 ─ I did not realize that it had been so long ago.

I must be growing less vulnerable to the horror of this sort of violence, for the sequel was not as appalling as I recall the first movie to be.

Nevertheless, John Jarratt portrays the killer so effectively that I find myself despising the actor himself, and I sure hope that his character ("Mick Taylor") does get successfully killed off gruesomely at some point.

The only reason I tuned in the movies was because I intend us to begin watching the two-season T.V. series, and then Wolf Creek 3.

The ending to Wolf Creek 2 is most dissatisfying, in that the killer essentially wins out. However, due to the later T.V. series, I knew that the killer likely had to still be around, so I was prepared for such an ending. My brother was not, for he knew and knows nothing of the series ─ I am keeping it as a surprise.

Drunk as my brother was, he made an excellent observation at the movie's conclusion in relation to the fate of the surviving victim, "Paul".

You see, after nearly escaping Mick and his horror dungeon, he regains consciousness after some lengthy blackout, "dressed only in his underpants, on a footpath in a small town, with multiple wounds across his body. He finds a handwritten note near him which reads "LOSER" before being discovered by two police officers. A series of title cards before the credits reveal that despite reporting Mick to the police, Paul was held as a suspect in various unsolved murders in the Wolf Creek area. During the investigation, he suffered a complete mental breakdown and was deported back to the UK and placed in full-time care at Ashworth Hospital, Merseyside. The film ends like the first film with Mick walking off into the outback with his rifle."

My brother argued that it would be utter senselessness for the police to be suspecting "Paul" of being a murderer when he had all of his various injuries (and quite apart from being unconscious and in only his undershorts there in town) ─ injuries that include the amputations of both of his index or 'pointer' fingers.

Does this sound like someone who is running around in the outback murdering people?

Of course not.

So that was a truly stupid finish to the movie. I suppose that viewers were expected to be so shocked by this point that logic would escape them.

Anyway, we finished the night with an episode of Barryseason three's episode five ("crazytimesh*tshow").

Beginning mid-morning or so, today's T.V. (via our Android TV Box) was to include two videos, starting off with Odessa Orlewicz's effort of yesterday that exceeded 1½ hours (1:38:52): Bioweapons. Interview WIth U.S National Counterterrorism & EMS Chief Advisor Tau Braun.

Bio Weapons? Interview With Tau Braun- National Counter terrorism Advisor For the U.S. Tau is now wide awake to what is going on, and woke up early on in the game.

Tau Braun Ed.D, MS. EMT: U.S. National Counterterrorism & EMS Advisor and Trainer Chief Scientist, CounterBi0terrorism (CBT) Division, BioChem Engineering Executive Director, Violence Prevention Agency (VPA). Dr. Braun is currently investigating the bio-synthetic aspects of SARS-CoV2, the possibility that it is a military-grade bi0logical weapon, and mapping its pathophysiology. Dr. Tau is a Clinical Psychologist who focused on integrative psychology and wellness. On June 6th, 2021 Dr. Tau wrote a letter to the FBI voicing his concerns with Covid research, Covid vaccines, spike proteins, and the overall response to what could be a biological attack and offered to provide support. They failed to listen. In 2021 he led a team of scientists in developing and sourcing Covid-19 response strategies. As a U.S. National Counterterrorism and Emergency SME, Dr. Braun advises and trains educational institutions, healthcare facilities, corporations, and both state and federal government organizations in Violence Prevention Strategies and Crisis.

This is his website: DrTauBraun.com ─ Odessa can be negligent in including these things in her descriptions.

The second video exceeded an hour (1:04:20), and had been uploaded yesterday to Rumble's A Warrior Calls channel: DR. COWAN DESTROYS IGNORANT DOCTORS ON WORLD STAGE COVID VIRUS EXISTS WAKE UP!

My brother abandoned the video with at least 20 minutes remaining, seeking bed rest and stating that Dr. Cowan's voice was putting him to sleep. I do concur that I was not able to focus throughout, either ─ the doctor lacks effective speaking skills.

I had yet to seek a nap before my brother emerged from his bedroom no later than 12:45 p.m. and left for the day ─ socializing awaited.

The day was sunny and hot, but not quite as bad as the past two days, perhaps.

My early afternoon nap delayed me in getting outside until after 2 p.m. for my 1½ or so hours of backyard sunning, but tomorrow is destined to be worse ─ I am supposed to have a cellphone consultation with my wife's credit counsellor around 3 p.m.

The female counsellor stressed that she will not discuss my wife specifically, but will try to advise concerning a legal threat being made against my wife over an unpaid credit card balance ─ my wife has been overseas since January 24 or so, and evidently thought that this liberated her from her debts.

I will be getting to bed relatively early this evening, for I plan to rise at 1:45 a.m. to begin readying for a five-mile walk. Thus, it matters not to me how late it may be that my brother returns home.
