I believe that I may have allowed myself just over four hours of bedtime last night before the sounding of my 1:45 a.m. alarm to get me up for my five-mile walk.
It was more time than required, for at one point I was lying and feeling suspiciously awake once I became aware that I still had that walk ahead of me, and this was not to be an unbroken night in bed.
So I checked the time ─ it was 1:32 a.m.
I foolishly attempted further rest, but surrendered after five minutes and rose.
With all of this extra time to ready myself, one might think that I should have easily gotten away by my target time of 2:15 a.m. Unfortunately, I got involved in making a comment to someone's Facebook post, and when I thereafter checked the time, it was 2:22 a.m. ─ I was almost horrified.
And so it was at least 2:24 a.m. before I had locked the front door and was away.
There was barely a cool tinge to the night air, and the sky seemed clear ... apart from light pollution.
Early into my walk I had my usual stop at an elementary school playground for six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups. I intended to take off my denim jacket, but I believed that I had heard someone's low and quiet whistle ─ as if calling to a loose dog.
It was too dark to tell if anyone else was on the large school property, let alone if there was a loose and potentially unfriendly dog, so I did not wish to in any way be at a disadvantage by taking off my jacket. Even so, I still managed four repetitions in the first set, and two in each of the remaining five.
I recall nothing else worth mentioning concerning the walk; and it was, I believe, something like 4:18 a.m. by the time I was back outside the locked front door. However, I did not immediately come into the house. Rather, for the first time this year, I watered most of the front yard garden plants.
My eldest stepson must have had a 6 a.m. 12-hour shift scheduled, for I heard him get up soon after I had come upstairs to my bedroom where I keep this computer. I shut myself up here in my room to best be assured that he would lock the front door when he left (which I heard him do).
It may have been after 5:30 a.m. before I was back into bed for some further sleep.
When my brother and I got together a little past 9 a.m. to watch some T.V., I put our Android TV Box into action and led us off with Odessa Orlewicz's 55-minute livestream of yesterday: Interview- Unvaxxed And Need Service? Healthcare Solutions With Graith Care!
Priscilla is the founder of Graith Care, an independent patient advocacy company. Dr. Ard!s and Dr. Ealy have partnered with her for patient consultations. Priscilla was recently on a panel at the Covid Litigation Conference in Atlanta. Graith Care is helping so many people. They have advocates in every state and also in Canada. Graithcare.com
My brother was not much interested, calling the video naught but a long commercial. However, I saw more potential value to it than he apparently did. But I do confess that I cannot ever see myself purchasing any time ─ it is far beyond my reach.
The next video I tuned in was uploaded two days ago to Rumble's A Warrior Calls channel: Police Services In Canada - Ignorant/Corrupt/Compromised.
Christopher rarely tries to offer a description of his eclectic videos, and that was so for this one. And I am certainly not about to take on the task.
This was his first video after a month offline, and he is now more realistic ─ the dumbed-down majority cannot be awakened before destruction descends. The people who are aware can only prepare for the inevitable, for it is coming.
We finished our viewing with an episode of Workin' Moms ─ this was episode 11 ("Trash Panda") of season two.
Thereafter it was time for some bed rest for my brother. I had a meal, and then was into my own bed in search of a nap when he exited his bedroom and left for the day.
I wanted to sun following my nap, but I did take a 20-minute break to phone the credit counsellor who used to handle my wife's credit consolidation arrangement before my wife broke it by skipping her regular payments ─ a legal firm sent my wife a threatening letter in that context last month.
My wife has been overseas since at least January 24. I had E-mailed the legal contact identified in that letter, explaining as much, but never got a reply. The law firm had threatened that my wife needed to contact them within 15 days of the date of the letter (April 17).
I E-mailed around April 25, well within the 15 days.
Anyway, the credit counsellor suggested that following up would be to my wife's benefit, showing reasonable good faith to have opened the way for negotiation outside of a court action. A judge would likely view this as such in our favour if this came to trial.
All else that could be recommended is to have my wife contact the counsellor once my wife is back, and steps can then be identified.
The hot Summer-like weather is continuing. I am looking forward to a couple cans of strong (8% alcohol) malt this evening while watching T.V. with my brother once he has returned home. I just wish I had a stock of chilled regular beer with which I could indulge now.
By the way, on Monday our annual home insurance billing arrived ─ $1,730 due June 14.
