Goodbye, Jack Irish

Twitter: Sunitspeaks

Another hot, sunny day.

I have not felt right since getting up this morning, but I am hoping that it is only due to my Sabbath fast and concomitant caffeine withdrawal, for I abstain from coffee as well as food.

Yet I did sun again this afternoon.

I plan an early morning grocery shopping hike tomorrow, and intend to rise at 4 a.m. to slowly ease into committing to the venture ─ I hope to leave here a while before 6 a.m. My destination has yet to be decided upon.

So no late evening T.V. for me today ─ I will try to be in bed between 10 - 11 p.m. Of course, I will need to avoid my younger brother and his eventual homecoming following his usual daily socializing.

Last evening we finally watched the series finale of Jack Irish. Overall, it was a good series, including the three movies. It not only made us familiar with lead actor Guy Pearce, but we also got to enjoy Marta Dusseldorp, whom we became familiar with through the excellent T.V. series A Place to Call Home.

I remember being surprised when my brother identified why Jack Irish supporting actor Aaron Pedersen was rather familiar ─ he had also acted in a small but memorable recurring role in A Place to Call Home.

Anyway, following that series, I had to resort to a website in order to find a working source for the latest consecutive episode of A Touch of Frost that we wanted to watch. The season or series four, episode three "Fun Times for Swingers", did not have a working source that I could find ─ in fact, when we watched what we thought was the third episode a week or so ago, I later discovered that it was actually episode four of the fourth season (or series).

And I kept meeting with that same misfile when I tried other sources.

So when I found the episode at this link at OK.ru, that was how we finally caught up on our viewing ─ I used the Firefox app that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box to allow us to watch the episode on T.V.

We finished off the night with an episode of Baddiel's Syndrome ─ all 13 episodes of the single season appear to be available at this link at YouTube's LovecraftComedy channel. We have now watched the ninth episode ('Calligrula').

This morning we only watched a 1¼-hour (1:14:11) May 11 addition to BitChute's Mercola channel: Technocratic Control and the Dangers of AI - Interview with James Corbett.

In this video, I interview investigative journalist James Corbett about false narratives, the global takeover by technocracy, controlled opposition and the dangers of artificial intelligence, as well as the solutions to these and other challenges.

Rather than squabbling about controlled opposition, we would be better served by spending our time productively engaged in research, verifying and triangulating information to discern what is true and what is false.

“Divide and conquer” is the primary way the control network maintains control, and all that’s needed to divide a previously unified front is insinuation and the seeding of doubt.

As AI-equipped chatbots are getting more sophisticated and start to monopolize online searches and virtual assistants, state-endorsed propaganda may become the only information available.

Narrative is the ultimate weapon; with a convincing-enough narrative, you can motivate entire populations to go to war or anything else that you want them to do.

One of the most important strategies you can implement to prepare yourself for the likelihood of what they plan on throwing at us next lies with community, meeting like-minded people that share your views and complement your skills. It will also be wise to relocate from high density urban areas.

My brother wanted some bed rest at 11:30 a.m., so we watched nothing else. And because of how unwell I was feeling, I sought a nap a short while later.

It is now after 7:30 p.m., so I am going to cease blogging. I feel like going to bed already.
