My day yesterday certainly did not end well. And after getting to bed soon after 9:30 p.m., I was to sleep wretchedly.
When my cellphone alarm chimed at 1:45 a.m. to get me up to ready for my five-mile+ walk, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was not actually feeling especially ill-rested. Fortunately, no one else was up.
I weighed myself ─ sans sleeveless denim jacket ─ just before leaving, registering (I think) just beneath 188 pounds. Or was it just under 189 pounds? One or the other.
It was 2:13 a.m. once I was on my way.
I found myself to be feeling fairly able when early into the walk I stopped at an elementary school playground for six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, but I only achieved my new normal: four and then three pull-ups in the first two sets; then three and two chin-ups in the next two sets; and finally two pull-ups in each of the final two sets performed between two gymnastics-style rings, with the ultimate pull-up held at highest elevation for a 12-count.
I capped off the exercises declined on a cement ramp and doing eight slow full-range push-ups.
The moon was still quite bright, but I did choose to use my flashlight a couple of times. And although I did pause several times to duck from sight of passing vehicles and even a cyclist once, I never made any detours. Consequently, I thought that I was making better time than I did, for it was 4:22 a.m. by the time I was back home.
I can't recall when I returned to bed, but I am sure that it was comfortably ahead of 6 a.m.
My morning was to commence around 9:30 a.m., and I soon was downstairs to join my younger brother for some T.V. However, due to him having to leave to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. to drive her to work, I did not put our Android TV Box into action until nearly 10:30 a.m.
All we had time for was the nearly two-hour (1:51:10) livestream two days ago of Rumble's Vaccine Safety Research Foundation channel: VSRF Livestream #88: 'Young Athletes Are Falling' with Christina Parks, PhD & Robert Seik, PharmD.
Steve is joined by Cellular & Molecular Biologist Christina Parks, PhD, to discuss the rising number of young athletes who are falling victim to the physical harms of the Covid-19 injections. Dr. Parks will also discuss her recent talk at the 3rd annual White Coat Summit in Washington, DC, including the mechanisms for how the Covid shots are causing injury, as well as the CDC’s childhood vaccine schedule.
Also joining is Dr. Robert Seik, PharmD, FMNM, Co-Founder of the Integrative Therapeutics Board for the Wellness Company, and owner of an independent pharmacy in Las Vegas, Partell Pharmacy. Dr. Seik explains why he is proud to be an affiliate of TWC: “Our philosophies are the same – patient care is always first. Our approach is also identical, integrating the best choices for patients using the right medications, important nutritional supplements, and healthy lifestyle choices.” Join us on Thursday and bring your questions for Dr. Parks and Dr. Seik.
My brother thereafter sought some bed rest, but I had still not gone back to bed for a nap by the time he had freshened up and left for the day to socialize ─ and I never even took the time for a meal because I am undergoing a Sabbath fast that began just barely before sundown yesterday.
Supposedly sundown hereabouts today will be 8:45 p.m., so I will be having a meal thereafter.
I would last much longer if it was not for having to have eaten before my brother returns home, for I need to avoid him so that I can have a relatively early bedtime ─ my early a.m. walks demand it of me.
Anyway, my early afternoon nap was not spectacular, and somewhat before 3 p.m. I was out in the backyard for likely over 70 minutes of sunning. There was often much light cloud.
My eldest stepson had a 12-hour shift today with a 6 a.m. start, so he rose and left for work this morning after I was back from my walk. His younger brother got up to something else, for he was not home until some point during my sunning ─ he had apparently been somewhere in which he had taken a large cooler with ice, and there were still three or so bottles of beer remaining in it (I snooped).
Tomorrow early a.m. I will be doing some grocery shopping, so my walk will have to be much later in order to accommodate the errand. As yet, I am still working out just which chain store is going to see me.
Even so, I do not wish to be sitting up into the early a.m. watching T.V. with my brother, so I will be avoiding him.
By the way ─ and this is most remarkable; I weighed myself while fully naked just before I went out to sun this afternoon, and to my astonishment I registered as being just a sliver over 180 pounds! I got the same analog reading twice.
Can it be that these daily walks are finally elevating my 73-year-old metabolism? That reading was as much as five pounds lower than I was expecting to see. I just hope that none of the dip relates to muscle tissue loss!
