Last evening I had to delay having some supper because my wife was home and busy cooking. The problem here is that I was wanting to commence a Sabbath fast that is supposed to begin as of sundown, so I ought to be done eating before then ─ for example, supposedly sundown hereabouts is 8:06 p.m.
Yet I was at her mercy, and 8 p.m. had arrived. She of course had no idea I was planning a fast. Consequently, it was officially after sundown before she dished me up some supper, and I never did finish until something like 8:40 p.m.
Bless her.
We were home alone, and I was watching on T.V. via our Android TV Box a YouTube video just exceeding an hour (1:03:08) that had been uploaded August 23 to the Jamie Hanshaw channel: Satanic Initiation Through Pop Music - Out of This World #33.
Jamie and Brittany Sellner talk about music, healing, Doja Cat, Lil NAS X, Beyonce, and other pop stars and their satanic imagery in music videos.
I wish that I had people in my life like these two beautiful Christian ladies.
My wife repaired to her sons' den area to eat and watch videos on her smartphone or tablet, so when I forsook T.V. and came upstairs to my bedroom to remove myself from the orbit of my younger brother once he arrived home from his daily socializing, I finally decided to just get to bed without a word to my wife.
And so I did. My cellphone alarm was set for 1:30 a.m. to get me up to ready for one of my five-mile+ walks.
When my alarm chimed, I was slowly readying here in my bedroom where I keep this computer, the bedroom door still shut, when I heard my eldest stepson arrive home. This was going to mean that he would be sitting up farting around in the kitchen, and eating and watching videos on his laptop or tablet at the dining table.
I would have to ready in clandestine fashion here in my bedroom, and then do my best to slip away unnoticed. My walks are no one's business but mine.
I had made an online temperature check, and it was supposedly identical hereabouts to the previous night's check: 15° Celsius (59° F.).
Then just as I was about set to go, I heard one of my stepsons come upstairs and occupy himself in the bathroom ─ I was denied the opportunity to weigh myself fully clothed so that I would know what total body weight I would be dealing with when I stopped early into my walk at an elementary school playground for a half dozen sets of pull-ups and chin-ups.
This was distinctly annoying.
It was 2:03 a.m. (I believe) once I was outside the locked front door and on my way under a seemingly clear moonless sky.
Note that I was wearing the brand new hikers that had arrived that morning in the mail ─ I had ordered them on August 15 from AliExpress.com, and had paid $65 and change in the hope that this somewhat elevated price would equate to a better quality pair of boots.
It did not.
I was to find that the fit was not problematic, but the only suggestion of a brand name on them is a tag affixed over the tops of each shoe's tongue reading "Outdoor". There is nothing else imprinted or stitched to the boots except the size "46" tag inside each one.
The boots look really good, and I am delighted that they arrived from Asia a mere 10 days after I had ordered them.
But they are miserable to walk in. The soles seem too lacking in support when one is walking ─ it is almost like walking on the soles of a fairly cheap pair of sneakers, except that the heel is of course more pronounced.
Yet despite this 'softness' to the soles, every step of both shoes resulted in a slapping of the forefoot that was very audible and impossible to quiet. As well, it was impossible for me to take on a quick-paced stride because the forced flat-footed effect of the soles disabled my ability to easily rise upon the ball of the foot to facilitate taking steps.
And that is precisely how I would describe the sole of these boots where actual walking / hiking is concerned ─ that is, disabling rather than enhancing of that activity.
I was to eventually attempt some easy jogging along an isolated stretch of highway, adopting a shuffling sort of short-paced step ─ the effect was abominable. The slapping of the forefoot was ludicrously loud, and it was impossible not to jog flat-footed.
Apart from all of that, I early recognized in my walk that the boots made me feel unstable. I weaved / staggered a little more than I am accustomed to doing (I have trouble walking in a flawlessly direct line, tending to meander somewhat); but I felt so very unstable that if I was to have to struggle with somebody in a conflict, I would have been very disadvantaged. Put simply, my footing was distinctly insecure.
These are not tactical-quality boots ─ anyone wearing them would be hugely impaired. Forget running, and certainly forget advancing quietly ─ that audible slapping of the forefoot is impossible to prevent. I do not believe that any reviewer who received an identical pair of these boots actually walked five or more miles in them like I did before leaving a review.
These are the boots, although mine were B2026black:
Do not buy these!
I left a critical review, but it seemed to me that the effort was wasted ─ it was somehow 'failed'.
Returning to the walk, though, I was back ahead of 4:10 a.m., so I was not away too terribly over two hours. And my youngest stepson was then up! However, I managed to get upstairs without any involvement between us.
And I was again to bed by 5:45 a.m., as I recall.
My younger brother and I never began watching videos on T.V. together until near 10:30 a.m. Although I had risen just after 9 a.m., it was not until nearly 10 a.m. that I discovered that my wife's bedroom door was wide open and she was not here! Evidently she had risen earlier and taken off. It might have been a Thai Buddhist event that she attended, but I doubt that she will be returning until after the weekend.
So what did my brother and I watch?
First, it was two of Odessa Orlewicz's videos, the second of which was extremely short (under five minutes).
The first was 46 minutes, and apparently recorded on August 22: Canada Fires- Why Was A Back Burn Planned But The Local Residents NOT Informed? Interview.
THE ECHO STOPS AFTER A FEW MINUTES.
Firefighters were told to "stand down..." while residents of Canada's Celista, BC near Shuswap are in awe. They all knew by Tuesday August 15th that 30km winds were coming. Why did firefighters light a back burn knowing the winds would carry it to that residential area, but not inform those residents? My guest today is Stef and Jorne. That fire came right to their back steps but firefighters refused to help saying they were to told to "stand down." My guest feels that they are trying to starve the citizens out so they can "let it all burn." Listen in to all of the details about this very strange and sad story in the age of "Smart C!ties," Global!sm, and the under funding of resources, while Trudeau sends millions to Ukraine.
The second shorter video was apparently recorded yesterday: Yep. Next Step of The Wildlands Project. Stop Insuring Homes Outside Of The City.
Upload of a 5 minute LIVE showing the mainstream news talking about areas that may not be able to get house insurance eventually... due to the "climate change wildfires."
After that I tuned in a long (1:24:21) August 24 livestream to Rumble's Vaccine Safety Research Foundation channel: VSRF Livestream #91: Maui Update, The Return of Mask Mandates & Emergency Preparedness.
Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Maui & Pediatric Cardiologist Dr. Kirk Milhoan, MD, No College Mandates Founder Lucia Sinatra, and Pharmicist Dr. Robert Seik PharmD, Chief of Integrated Therapeutics at The Wellness Company, headline VSRF Live this week.
Join us this week for VSRF Live as we explore what’s really happening in Maui, the return of mask and other mandates on college campuses across America, and The Wellness Company’s emergency medical kits.
Kirk Milhoan received his BA from PLNU, his PhD from UCSD, and his MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He performed his pediatric residency in the Air Force at David Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB and his pediatric Cardiology Fellowship at San Diego Children’s Hospital. He and his wife, Dr. Kim, started For Hearts and Souls in 2001, which is a Christian medical missions organization primarily oriented towards serving children around the world who do not have access to adequate pediatric cardiac care. Kirk Milhoan has also led home groups and Bible studies for over 20 years.
“My desire is for the church to be a body of believers following the great call of Christ to serve others and share the gospel, submitting ourselves to the will of Jesus Christ as known by thoroughly studying His word and seeking Him in prayer.”
Lucia Sinatra is a recovering corporate securities attorney. After becoming a mother, Lucia turned her attention to fighting inequities in public schools in California for students with learning disabilities. She co-founded NoCollegeMandates.com to help fight college vaccine mandates and is a contributing writer to The Brownstone Institute.
Dr. Robert Seik is a compounding pharmacist and owner of Partell Pharmacy located at 5835 S Eastern Ave Suite 101, Las Vegas. His pharmacy has been in business for over 20 years.
He is known for his cutting edge and forward-thinking solutions to traditional medical treatment challenges. Therefore, it’s no surprise that his pharmacy was the first preferred independent pharmacy to partner with The Wellness Company.
Dr. Robert Seik has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry working with national networks of research physicians for companies including Schering-Plough, InterMune, and Valeant Pharmaceuticals. During his career Robert was involved in the research and marketing of novel agents for the treatment of various infectious diseases, endocrine, and immune disorders.
Robert completed his pharmacy degree at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA and his clinical training focused on infectious disease and outcomes research.
A long description, but worthy of supplying in full.
If my brother acquired any bed rest afterwards, it will surprise me. He is always so infernally eager to get away to socialize. Since I was not going to have to have my nap delayed by a noon hour meal, I had it and ─ barely ahead of 2 p.m. ─ was out in the backyard sunning. This was our first clear sky in several days ─ wildfire smoke has largely blotted out our Sun.
I managed to log in something over an hour and 35 minutes ─ I needed it.
My early evening has been wearing on, so I wish to end this post and catch some T.V. before eventually having my day's first meal. First, though, I want to mention something that caught me wholly unawares ─ a weigh-in result not much more than an hour ago. I was so taken aback that at first I was unsure that I was reading the analog registration properly.
Somehow, I managed to drop down to 176 pounds!
I will not be rising exceptionally early tomorrow, for I intend to do some grocery shopping while returning from that five-mile+ walk. Consequently, my alarm will be set for the 'late' morning hour of 4 a.m.
