A Misfile

I have little time for this post, for I want to get out this evening for a long grocery shopping expedition afoot. I went nowhere this morning.

Although I was to bed last evening by 10 p.m. with my cellphone alarm set for 4 a.m., I slept abominably. I suspect that the two pieces of pizza my youngest stepson had earlier given me, and which comprised the opening dish of the fare comprising my late supper that broke my Sabbath fast, were primarily responsible. They seemed especially salty.

I had watched a very interesting women's MMA match on YouTube whilst eating.

The video was essentially 20 minutes: FULL FIGHT | Sunna Davíðsdóttir and Mallory Martin battle it out for FOTN | Invicta FC 22.

Invicta FC 22: Sunna Davíðsdóttir vs Mallory Martin. March 25, 2017. Kansas City.

I was unfamiliar with either fighter, but I was intrigued by Iceland's Sunna, so I was backing her.

The fight went all three five-minute rounds, and I would probably have given Sunna one definite round, and Mallory another. But the final round was amazing. Mallory seemed to me to be wearing Sunna down, whereas Mallory just could not seem to be stopped ─ she kept pushing ahead.

Honestly, when the bout was over, I fully expected Mallory would be accorded the win. How it was that all three judges accorded the decision to Sunna mystifies me, although as seems to happen, there must have been a professional wrestling referee on loan as a judge, for he gave all three rounds to Sunna.

As I said, I was rooting for Sunna, but even I would not have declared her to have won all three rounds. And in fact, I expected that Mallory was going to be named the victor.

Anyway, I did get up at 4 a.m. overnight, still fully intending the planned five-mile walk and shopping hike. However, my eldest stepson had a third consecutive day of 12-hour shifts set up with a 6 a.m. start, so he was to rise and become something of an obstacle.

As well, I felt obligated to water the front yard garden plants, not having done so since early Wednesday a.m.

So I did that; and I even had some backyard tool shed exercises. But I just ran out of time ─ I wanted to be away by 6 a.m. at very latest, and I failed by a wide margin. So I abandoned the walk ─ the day had become too sunny and busy.

I did return to bed for some further sleep, but it was hardly restorative.

By the way, my eldest stepson in departing said that his mother did indeed arrive home last evening after being away for one day shy of six months ... but she just did not bother coming 'home' to us. He said she might do so this evening. We shall see.

As for morning T.V. with my brother, we watched a very interesting 1½-hour (1:32:19) interview added two days ago to Rumble's FlatEarther46 channel: Dr. Northrup, Dr. Lee Merritt & Dr. Reiner Fuellmich.

We ended our viewing with an episode of My Family. The episode proved to be one that was misfiled, so we have jumped the cue, so to speak. Consequently, I am not going to say further about it.

I never bothered sunning this afternoon because this has been a bath day.

And now I must rest up before embarking upon that outing ─ I would like to have a couple cans of the strong (8% alcohol) malt that I have in stock before I leave.
